Enterprising Health, a program dedicated to promoting health and wellness in the community, recently awarded funding to Mobilecare247 for their innovative Care365 managed care application.

Detroit , March 14, 2012 – Mobilecare247, an integrated suite of online Professional and Consumer Portals and Mobile Applications that seamlessly connect health care professionals, patients, families and caregivers was recently awarded funding from Enterprising Health,  a Detroit based initiative to facilitate the development of socially conscious businesses designed to positively impact the health and wellness of individuals, families, and communities.

Mobilecare247 was awarded funding to develop a prototype of service for their innovative business concept, which is closely aligned with the goals of the Enterprising Health Program to find innovative solutions for community health challenges.

Mobilecare247’s Care365 is a mobile healthcare application that is designed to improve health care management in the community through the use of technology and a managed nurse hotline that is available 24 hours per day.  Recognized benefits of this application include:

  • Access to critical health education and information for both patients and health care providers;
  • The improvement of real time managed care;

  • Increased access to resources;
  • The promotion of disease prevention.
